About KK

At Sports Illustrated, I worked my way up from editorial assistant for SI’s NFL website, The Monday Morning Quarterback to writer/producer, to staff writer. For three years, I was the editorial assistant for the site and personal assistant to The MMQB's former editor-in-chief and senior columnist Peter King. In that role I reported and wrote stories, edited and produced content for our website, organized three cross-country road trip, directed The MMQB’s social media, produced a live podcast show and assisted Peter in reporting and scheduling. I then shed my assistant duties and became a full-fledged reporter and writer at SI, developing my own network of sources across the league.

I love being a journalist because the job requires you to immerse yourself in experiences and environments you might otherwise never encounter. I am NFL-focused, but it's not all stadiums and practice periods. I've reported stories from a graduate school classroom, a pediatric cancer clinic, a falconry in Georgia, a Norbertine abbey, and a copper-mining community in the deserts of Arizona.
